14 Student Responsibilities
Independence is the goal for this year. Don’t drop things off at school if they forget them. Self Advocacy: Daily communication/questions regarding class or assignments should be communicated to the teacher by the student. (this can happen face to face, or through )

15 Student Responsibilities
Band/Orchestra class absence policy -Students must take ownership of their absence and get caught up during Advisory. Absences: Students are responsible for getting missed work due to illness or vacation through Schoology or talking to the teacher and making it up according to the teacher’s deadline. Again, the Advisory period is a great time to complete this.

16 Student Responsibilities
Social Media- facebook, Instagram, snapchat, twitter, ask FM, Finsta…. all dangerous; please monitor your children’s devices. Ipads- educational tool; please discourage gaming. Ipads- student responsibility to charge each night; no charging stations provided.

17 Get Involved! A happy child is one who is involved in activities
Students should feel a connection to their school Clubs are a great way to be involved in the school environment. New ones will be announced each day and posted on our website. Studies show students who are engaged and involved in their school are usually better students and stay out of trouble.
