Japanese Short Form Poetry that is typically characterized by three qualities:
Consists of 17 syllables in three phrases of 5, 7, 5
Usually written (in English) where each phrase is its own line

A peaceful evening Sparrows signing together With pretty feathers

They are very beautiful
