3. Using one-point perspective, parallel lines converge to one point somewhere in the distance. This point is called the vanishing point (VP). This gives objects an impression of depth.
When drawing using one point perspective, all objects vanish to one common point somewhere on the horizon.

9. 2 Point Perspective

10. In two point perspective, the sides of the object vanish to one of two
vanishing points on the horizon.
Vertical lines in the object have no perspective applied to them.

16. 3 Point Perspective
All parallel lines will appear to vanish to 3 points: 2 points on the horizon line and 1 point either above or below the horizon line
Vertical lines will appear to vanish to your 3rd vanishing point
Viewpoint:
- A 3rd vanishing point above the horizon line (zenith) will create a bug’s eye view
- A third vanishing point below the horizon line (nadir), creates a bird’s eye view
