3. The energy flows through the food web by the producers taking in the sun’s energy then the producers which are prickly pear cacti, and wild flower. Then the producers are eaten by the primary consumers witch are a small lizards, beetles, and kangaroo rats, they are eaten by the secondary consumers. They are desert fox , large lizards, and the scorpion. Those are the secondary consumers. Now on to the top predator, the hawk, the hawk’s prey are the secondary consumers when the hawk dies the decomposer is a millipede the millipede breaks town the predator and gives the nutrients back to the ground.
