September 2013 Oxford primary (maintained school) resource base – no new pupils. 1 pupil with a FTE CSW transitions to the secondary base 5 children all receiving CSW support will reduce to 4. Oxford secondary (academy) resource base – 1 transition from primary and 4 leavers. All leavers are auditory-oral communicators and have been supported by TAs. Numbers will drop from 6 to 3 young people (2 using CSW support). TA’s supporting auditory-oral leavers are needed in the Post-16 sector and the primary CSW is needed in the secondary base.
