2017 New Year’s Fit Bit Event
December 23-January 9, 2017 Customer purchases eligible Simmons/Beautyrest mattress set between December 23, 2016 and January 9, 2017. Eligible sets include: Beautyrest Recharge Beautyrest Recharge World Class Beautyrest Recharge Hybrid Beautyrest Platinum Beautyrest Platinum Hybrid Beautyrest Black Qualifying customers will receive a brand new Fitbit Flex, perfect for anyone’s New Year’s resolution!

So, how does the customer get the gift card?
Customer makes a qualifying purchase. Store provides the informational flyer (included in POP kit) which tells them how to get their gift cards. If for any reason flyers are not available, they can be downloaded and printed from the FMG website at Purchased items are delivered to the customer. Excel Dealer Worksheet (also found on the website) is completed by the member retailer listing all qualifying customers, with some basic information like address, phone number, items purchased, date of purchase and date of delivery. Member retailer submits the Excel Dealer Worksheet by to the FMG office, to Bonnie Wallace or Michael Herschel FMG sends list of all qualifying customers whose orders have been delivered to Capitol Marketing to be processed. Capitol Marketing mails a voucher to the customer with a unique voucher number. This voucher should be received by the customer within 10 days to 2 weeks. Customer completes the voucher indicating their choice of gift cards either online ( or by mail, using their unique voucher number. Capitol Marketing receives and processes their request. The gift cards are mailed to the customer; they should expect to receive them within 2 to 4 weeks.

There is NO national Serta advertising campaign; this event is exclusively for a specially selected group of FMG member retailers. POP Kits that will be sent via UPS on December to the stores that opt in include: A vinyl 24 x 62.5” banner Approximately 100 informational flyers The banners have grommets to be used on X-stands, mounted to a wall, or hung from the ceiling. The banners are provided to FMG member retailers at no charge. A digital version of the flyer is available on the website, as well as the Excel Dealer Worksheet needed to report qualifying customers to FMG. Details, details… Offer valid for purchases made between 12/23/16 and 1/9/17 only. Prior sales excluded. Only one gift may be selected per voucher. Limit one gift per household. Once issued, a gift cannot be withdrawn. In the case of a return or cancellation where a gift has been issued, the value of the issued gift should be deducted from any refund by the retailer. Voucher certificates are transferable, but may not be resold under any circumstances. Voucher must be submitted (post-marked or on-line) on or before May 31, 2017. Only customers with a delivery completion date indicated are eligible to receive a gift card. The sale must be completed and FMG must be notified prior to May 31, 2017. All taxes are the responsibility of the person receiving the redemption. Upon receipt of the completed voucher, Capitol Marketing/Meridian will process the request AND mail the gift card directly to the consumer in 3 to 6 weeks. There is no charge to the consumer or to FMG member retailers for the gift cards. FMG member retailers do not have to handle the gift cards. Retailers are only required to provide to FMG a list of qualifying customers.
