1 Preparation of Annual Troop Finance Report

2 Troop Finance Report The report is a snapshot of your troop activity, and is submitted online in the Volunteer Toolkit on the Council website located at

3 Troop Finance Report After logging in to “My GS,” select “Volunteer Toolkit” and “Finances.” If you have more than one troop, make sure you have the correct troop selected in your dropdown menu.

4 Troop Finance Report Income and expense categories are the same as last year, and there is no requirement to submit bank statements. All items are grossed up for cookie and fall product sale (income versus Council EFTs). A document detailing your income and expense input must be submitted this year. Reports must be submitted on the website prior to June 30th.

5 Income The first portion of the report for Income is shown at right, and only includes summary level data. Make sure to “gross up” Cookie and Fall Product Sale Income.

6 Expense The second portion of the report for expense is shown at right, and only includes summary level data. The Cookie and Fall Product Sale amounts should be the Council EFTs and Payanywhere charges only.

7 Financial Summary You are responsible for ensuring that the “Starting Balance” is the same as the “Ending Balance” from the last report submitted for your troop.

10 Submitting Report Please note that you CANNOT resubmit your report this year. Make sure to use the preview option and review before you submit your report. You will NOT receive an confirmation that your report was received.
