Dress Codes Apply! Fashion Police: Knott’s Berry Farm DON’T WEAR ANYTHING THAT IS PROHIBITED BY THE NON- UNIFORM DRESS CODE For Example: Spaghetti Straps, Flip Flops, Tank Tops, Short Shorts, Bandanas, Bathing Suits, or any article of clothing with gang or negative affiliation

9 Thursday, May 31st Promotion Ceremony
Students must arrive at the regular 8:04 school start time. Any student who is late may have their promotion certificate pulled. Students should dress in their best dress (what they would wear to an important family event). Be cautious wearing high heels shoes, as you will be walking across the field area. Gates open at 8:00am to allow guest and visitors out onto the field seating area. NO TICKETS ARE NEEDED. Seats are on a first come first serve basis. Parking is very limited. Please use the dirt lot off of Diamond Crest as the staff lots will be filled.

10 Thursday, May 31st Promotion Ceremony
Parking will no be permitted in the turnaround on either side. Balloons and noise makers are NOT permitted in the promotion area so as not to block the view or name reading of any student. A professional photographer and videographer will be present at the ceremony if families would like to purchase pictures/videos of their students and the ceremony. Students will be dismissed to their families at the end of the ceremony.

You need to keep them to be eligible for 8th grade promotion activities!

14 Why do i need points? Dance = 75 points Picnic = 65 points
Knott's = 55 points

15 How do i Lose Points? Dress Code - 5 points Detention Bus Referral
Failure to turn in Points Letter by 3/16 - 10 points In School Suspension - 15 points Out of School Suspension - 25 points Don’t return library/textbooks by 5/22

16 Promotion Requirements
Must have satisfactory grades (i.e 2.0 GPR or better) Must have satisfactory citizenship scores.
