2 VIEWS OF A FIGURE When we are above an object, we see a PLAN view.

3 VIEWS OF A FIGURE When we are in front of an object, we see a FRONT view. FRONT

4 VIEWS OF A FIGURE When we are next to an object, we see a PROFILE view. There are two profiles: LEFT PROFILE and RIGHT PROFILE. LEFT PROFILE

5 VIEWS OF A FIGURE The three main views of an object are: PLAN, FRONT and PROFILE. FRONT PROFILE PLAN

6 STEPS TO FOLLOW 1º - Colour in each face of the object with a different colour. 2º - Draw the axis. 3º - Draw the PLAN view. 4º - Extend the vertical lines of the PLAN view with thin lines to connect to the top. 5º - Draw the FRONT view. 6º - Extend the horizontal lines of the FRONT view with thin lines to connect to the PROFILE view.

7 STEPS TO FOLLOW 7º - Extend the horizontal lines of the PLAN view with thin lines to connect to the axis. 8º - Put the tip of the compass in the centre of the axis and draw the curve. 9º - Extend to the top. 10º - Draw the PROFILE view. 11º - Colour in each face of the figure with the corresponding color.
