3 minute timer – go ahead and draw anything you like in each circle. Doodle – fill in as many of the circles into recognizable objects. The goal is quantity, not quality. Go. Now lets compare results – how many people filled all 30? 20? 10? Did you draw similar items like food, types of balls? Faces, cookies, planet? Did anyone break the rules and combine two or more circles to make something? Was that a rule that was implied? Look at your neighbors circles – did you draw similar items?

A clinical study commissioned by the Home Sewing Association reveals that people who sew – both skilled as well as novice sewers – experience a significant drop in heart rate, blood pressure, and perspiration rate when compared to others who participate in other leisure-time activities. The results appear to indicate that sewing helps to relax while they focus on a creative activity. The belief is that sewing involves the muscles and the mind, promoting healthier body synergy, and that because sewing as been so successful at promoting relaxation among women who sew that it may be better than therapy. I am going to attest to this fact to be true.
