2 Setting for Optional allowance in Admin Panel
Step 1 : Create allowance in allowance master. Tick mark on Optional. Mention code unique code for allowance (Taxable /Non Taxable ) .Example : LTA(Taxable) code =11 and LTA(Non Taxable) code =11 so employee can select only one from LTA. Once employee select LTA (Taxable) , LTA(Non Taxable ) would be disable. Select eligible grade . Select other process as per general allowance. Refer below screen shot for the same.

3 Setting for Optional allowance in Admin Panel
Step 2 : Setting in admin setting for duration of application to be opened for employee. Control Panel >>Admin Setting >> General >> Reimbursement Setting Add no. of days for duration for selection allowance from Employee side portal. No.of intimation days will consider from 1st april .(Financial Year).

4 Optional allowance Application
Step 3 : Application for Selection of desire allowance Employee needs to select allowance through Allowance/Reimbursement Application. Path for application : Claim >> Application /Reimbursement Application . Click to add to initiate the application.

5 Approval of Optional Allowance
Step 4 : Approval of optional allowance Notification goes to reporting manager and admin user. Admin user notification on home page for no. of application. Path for Approval : Manager side :Claim >>Allowance/Reimbursement approval. Admin side : Loan / Claim >>Allowance /Reimbursement Approval

6 Approval of Optional Allowance
Step 4 : Approval of optional allowance Admin user or Manager pro-active approve the allowance/reimbursement application. No need to raise an application by employee Approved can change the selection of allowance. Refer report Salary >> Allowance Status for pending /Approval

7 Optional Allowance in salary structure
Step 5 : Once optional allowance is approve, it can be viewed in employee salary structure. Refer below screen shot for the same. Notes : In case of any allowance in salary structure which difference of all allowance , needs to assign after optional allowance assigned.
