Cornelius Shows Us… It is not enough to be good, one must become a Christian. However, it is not enough for one to be a Christian, he must also be good.

Can I be described as “devout”?

Shown in his willingness to obey everything that God has commanded - vs Can I be described as “fearing God”?

Can it be said that I do much in the way of helping others?

I am a child of God, but how often do I pray?

6. A Just, Righteous Man v. 22 He was fair and upright in his dealings with others. He did not misuse his authority as a soldier (Luke 3:14). Am I considered an honest and fair person?

What kind of reputation do I have with others?

8. Humble vs. 5-6 Am I humble enough to admit that I need help, and to receive God’s instructions, regardless of who the messenger may be?

Am I a doer of the word, or just an unfruitful hearer?
