The U-Shaped Valley Identification Points It is found usually with a small stream or river flowing through it. Or with a Ribbon or long narrow lake. It has a contour pattern as shown opposite.

The Cirque or Corrie Identification Points It has a contour pattern shown opposite. It can be found on a map with several names : Coire, Cwm, Corrie, Cove.
