2 Annual Meeting Tasks INVOLVE PARENTS (planning, review, improvement plan schoolwide program, and policy/procedures revision)—Schoolwide/District Title I Advisory Councils DATA ANALYSIS (gains/progress and/or gaps toward learning goals and academic expectations) OFFER TRAINING MATERIALS (inform parents of trainings, meetings, and activities to promote ongoing communication between school/home) INVOLVE (parents and community organizations involved in school and district advisory councils) 12/5/2018

THE SCHOOL PROVIDES high-quality curriculum and instruction REVIEW OF student academic assessment during P/T conferences, phone and written communication, and during progress report and report card issuance. PARENTS AND SCHOOL ADVISORY COUNCIL involved in developing school-home compacts which describes the partnership needed to achieve Kentucky’s standards. PARENTS have a voice DISTRICT makes provisions for opportunities and participation of parents with limited English proficiency, as those situations arise. DISTRICT AND SCHOOLS conduct annual survey. 12/5/2018

…each school community has developed a Parent Compact and Policy that outlines student, staff, and parent responsibility …The compact is designed for improved student academic achievement and for developing a partnership to help children achievement. 12/5/2018

6 Title I Parent Involvement
…Parents are their children’s most important teachers, and the parent/child interaction is fundamental to the total educational effort. …We value both parents’ contributions at school and their participation at home. 12/5/2018

Without your assistance in this evaluation, our program and the children served by it will be adversely affected. Please help us in this matter by responding to the questionnaire below.
