2 Primary Focus Many students have most their classes done and have several periods of study hall or leave early their senior year Through ODE’s Senior Only program – seniors can participate in career tech certificate only training programs

3 Important Concepts In the PRCTC example, the CTPD is the lead
Home schools provide program input and referrals of students PRCTC secondary education partners with the PRCTC adult education department (Ohio Technical Center, OTC)

4 Senior Credentials Timeline
Alignment of OTC and secondary industry credentials * CT2 Hours are based off of what is approved or available through the OTC

12-hour permit currently requires a 4-year degree Long term sub license and CTE-36 alternative Working on a law change Asked area students to complete a program interest survey

Scheduling EMIS credits FAQ and other concerns Ensured appropriateness for age & developed schedules Piloted with a few schools first semester Started enrollment process with the OTC

8 As of Today 12 students currently enrolled in the pilot
Second semester coming fast with expanded schools/offerings Getting additional interest due to new graduation requirements OTC support using WorkKeys remediation curriculum Advocating for additional industry recognized credentials
