Gluing tips for NX-10 (also applicable for XE70, XE100) Place a small amount of superglue (Loctite) onto the steep tip holder superglue Andrey Malkovskiy, Stanford, 09/03/17

Make sure the rear end of the tip is located next to the small round indents in the steel tip base and is not tilted Andrey Malkovskiy, Stanford, 09/03/17

3 Andrey Malkovskiy, Stanford, 09/03/17
Too much glue on one side, the tip is tilted now Use a second set of tweezers to press the tip down while the 1st set is holding it in place, this way the glue will be more evenly distributed under the tip Andrey Malkovskiy, Stanford, 09/03/17

Generally, this is how it should look like: Andrey Malkovskiy, Stanford, 09/03/17

5 Andrey Malkovskiy, Stanford, 09/03/17
Unfortunately, the NX-10 PSD is very sensitive to tip position and it seems the best position to glue chips with multiple tips is to have the tip of interest (with a sphere, for example) in the middle of the steel plate Andrey Malkovskiy, Stanford, 09/03/17
