Tumors can metastasize from brain lobes (BL) and/or EAD into ventral nerve cord (VNC). (B) Local non-autonomous autophagy (NAA) fuels RasV12, scrib−/− growth and metastasis. JNK, Yki, and autocrine JAK-STAT signaling activated by Upd/IL-6 trigger NAA.
