(2016) demonstrated that after extinction training, fear memories (purple ball) were recovered or renewed by one week after extinction training in normal young adult animals (postnatal day 35–49). (2016) showed that inhibitory neuron transplantation (indicated by a red arrow) 14 days before fear conditioning (purple ball) facilitated fear memory erasure (gray ball).
