A Data cleansing batch can be defined by setting batch criteria rules. These rules can be set by selecting various party attribute values to define a subset of records for which the batch is run. Once submitted, the Fusion Data Quality service runs in the background to return sets of records with all addresses verified and also with suggestions against records identified as incorrect for further evaluaton by the Data Steward. For automated (mode) batches, all suggestions by the Fusion Data Quality service are spontaneously accepted without any intervension of the Data Steward. In the simulated mode the suggestions are presented to the Data Steward who has the ability to accept or reject suggestions at the batch, group and individual record level.
