2. WHY? YOUR ACT SCORE WILL BE USED FOR
COLLEGE AND TECHNICAL SCHOOL ADMISSION
A. Most colleges require at least a 19 on the ACT
B. Many technical programs require an ACT score ranging from a 16 to a 21 in specific subject areas.
II. SCHOLARSHIPS
A. Hope scholarship requires a 21
B. Many other scholarships directly connect their award amounts to ACT score
III. PLACEMENT IN AP, HONORS, AND DUEL- ENROLLMENT CLASSES
A. Admission requirement composite 19, Comp 1 English 18 and reading 19, Math classes at least a 19 on Math test.
B. AP classes also use ACT scores to determine placement.

8. The first time that you move through a focus area, you should do so without checking your answers. The second time, click check answer to see what you are doing wrong.

9. When you finish a focus area, it will give you the option of going back to work on the questions that you got wrong or resetting the section to redo ALL of the questions.

10. Your goal should be to keep redoing each focus area until you have answered all of the questions correctly and received an Advanced rating. If you are having difficulty, watch the videos that appear at the start of the focus.

11. When you have finished all of the content in the focus areas, click on All Content under the home tab. This will allow you to practice all of the sub-categories on the test.

12. This area allows you to practice all of the sub-categories for each of the tests. It works exactly the same as the other page.

13. Analyze-ed’s eight week improvement program to master the content
The typical 8 week improvement plan involves the following approach
Starting with one of the four sections of the ACT® complete the practice questions for all the three improvement areas in two weeks
We have aggregated videos relevant to each focus area to help you understand the concepts being tested
Practice each question, paying specific attention to the answer explanation
As you practice we estimate your proficiency. Your objective should be to score a proficiency rating of A in each improvement area
Repeat the process for the remaining three sections of the ACT®
We estimate hours of practice each week to get through all the focus areas

14. The second page of your report contains the Pareto charts for your test. The charts show what percentage of your incorrect answers align with each sub-category. Students should try to master each sub-category moving from left to right.
