1 Good Morning. It’s a short week! Breathe!
Today and tomorrow I want to meet with as many of you as possible. I will be available during guided study, my prep (3rd hour), after school (Monday very briefly) before school (not right before the first bell), and always by . If you can’t get a hold of me, you aren’t trying hard enough! Tomorrow, meet in the library. I will count you late so don’t forget. It will be your LAST lab day. Wednesday will be a quiet work day in class. (See next slide) Please make sure to review the rubric I will use to grade you. You are responsible for the information I have given you over the last week. “I didn’t know” is not an excuse Paper due by Wednesday, Nov. 24 by 2:30 with works cited page and source attached. EVEN IF YOU ARE ABSENT, get it here. Retakes and poetry rewrites due by Nov. 24 too.

2 Your homework for Thanksgiving weekend; you can work on this or your paper the next few days.
You will read the power points on Greek drama. Please complete the handout given to you. Pay special attention to the information about tragic heroes. The power points will be on the wiki, but you can find them on the assign drive. You have two plays to read: Oedipus and Antigone. As you read, annotate and take notes about the similarities and differences in the two main characters. What is their tragic flaw? Who is the true tragic hero and why?
