Location Meriden is located in the center of the state of Connecticut and in the heart of the Central Connecticut River Valley.

History In 1661, Jonathan Gilbert was granted a land settlement for a farm near Cold Spring in what later became the City of Meriden.

Traffic Tower In the 1920s the airport was built and the downtown traffic tower erected.

Goffe House The Goffe House was built in The Goffe House is located at 667 North Colony Street in Meriden.

City Hall City Hall is located on 142 East Main Street. As you first walk into City Hall, you will find photos of past mayors.

World War I Monument The Broad Street Monument is the largest monument and is located at the northern end of the median green between the north and south lanes of Broad Street.

Hubbard Park Meriden is famous for Hubbard Park. There are 577,315 daffodils at the park during the Daffodil Festival.
