Orangatangs The orangatangs live on the Island of Borneo and Sumatra in Indonesia. They eat tropical fruits and also leaves. They will sleep in the trees as well as they move through the trees, in search of fruit. They are critically endangered.

Poison Arrow Frog Poison Arrow Frogs live in the Amazon Rainforest. They have enough poison to kill up to 2200 people their colours warn predators to back off and there poison can cause death or being paralysed.

Capybara Capybara’s are found in South America and Panama. They eat fruit, different grasses and water plants. They are also part of the rodent family and they can grow up to 4 ft long.

Toucans Toucans are found in south America in the canopy of the Rainforest. There are 40 different types. They eat fruits, nuts and insects.

Sloth Sloth’s are the worlds slowest animals. They are found in south America and the Amazon Rainforest. They have been known to have up to 978 beetles on it. They are found in the canopy. Their body grows up to 24 – 27 inches and weigh 10 pounds.

Piranhas Piranhas are found in the Amazon River and other tropical rivers. Piranhas are man eating fish and also eat other big animals. They strip their prey to the bone in seconds.
