Audio Tips Today’s audio is streaming to your computer’s speakers or headphones. Too loud or soft? Adjust volume level in the Audio broadcast box: Lost all sound? Hear an echo? Select Leave Audio Broadcast or click X to close box(es). Then rejoin. Audio: You will be listening to the audio for today’s session via your computer’s speakers or headphones. You can adjust the audio on the Audio Broadcast popup box. You may also want to be sure your computer audio settings are up all the way. If you have issues with your audio (like volume cutting in and out or if you hear an echo) a helpful troubleshooting tip is to “leave the audio broadcast” or close the audio box (or boxes, if you’ve accidentally joined twice) and rejoin the audio broadcast. This tip is explained along with other troubleshooting tips, in WebJunction’s user guide: Your audio will be muted during today’s session, so you don’t need to worry about background noise or conversations you may be having with others attending at your location. 2

Chat Etiquette Use Chat to talk with attendees and presenters about the topic. Do not post technical questions to Chat. Chat Etiquette: And since you can’t speak up, we rely on chat as a way for you to communicate today. If you’re new to WJ webinars, you should know that we encourage you to use chat throughout our sessions to ask questions, share ideas and to post links…you can see that links are live in chat and open in a separate window, so as not to interrupt your login. A couple things to note about chat. Please be sure to select “All Participants” in the dropdown menu, so that all can see your questions and comments. If you have answers to any of the questions, please feel free to post to chat, and we especially encourage you to post your own links, if you have examples of some of the resources or services that will be talked about today. We review chat and post those additional resources to the archive page and chat is also retained as a part of the archive. Please note that there is an option for chatting with “All Attendees” but we discourage you from using that, as the panelists will NOT see those chats.
