2 Paper 2 –The factors question
Stated factor (role of the individual) The question is not asking whether this is the only factor but the ‘main’ one (i.e. a judgement is required) Has the role of the individual been the main factor in the development of medicine in Britain since the Medieval times? Explain your answer with reference to key individuals as well as other factors. Use a range of examples from across your study of Health and the People: c1000 to the Present day. (16 marks) + [SPaG: 4 marks] This shows that you need to refer to both the stated factor and at least one other Focal point of the question This shows that you can bring in any evidence from your study that suits (it is purposely broad to give you more scope to answer the question) Command words
