Ready your feet!
3
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.
2 Corinthians 10:3 NKJV

The Full Armor of God Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; Ephesians 6:13-17 NKJV

…having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace…
Ready Your Feet …having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace… A Roman Soldier’s feet was the symbol of expansion. Wherever he walked became new territory for the Roman Empire. So too it is with you and I today for the Kingdom of God.

We are commissioned to take a message of peace into our world–God is not mad at you.
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have PEACE WITH GOD through our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 5:1 NKJV “…if someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it. But do this in a gentle and respectful way. Keep your conscience clear. Then if people speak against you, they will be ashamed when they see what a good life you live because you belong to Christ.” 1 Peter 3:15b-16 NLT

What must we do? Develop a love/passion for people who don’t know Christ. This is how much God loved the WORLD: He gave His Son, His one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in Him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. John 3:16 MSG One way to display our love and affection for God is to display love and affection to who/what He loves. Hearing this, Jesus said: "It is not those who are in health that need a doctor, but those who are ill. I did not come to call the religious, but the outcast." Mark 2:17 TCNT

What must we do? Accept the responsibility for connecting with those people. As God’s co-workers we urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain. 2 Corinthians 6:1 NIV When a person comes to Christ, we are transformed and then we are assigned a job – to share God’s amazing love with others. Nobody likes a co-worker who doesn’t do their part.

Our message is that God was making ALL HUMAN BEINGS His friends through Christ. God did not keep an account of their sins, and He has given us (committed to us) the message which tells how He makes them His friends. 2 Corinthians 5:19 GNT 7.3 4.9 37.5 (according to Pew Research: “Most people are not resistant to Jesus. They are resistant to the suffocation of religion.”

What must we do? 3. Rise to the Occasion!
This is all the more urgent, for you know HOW LATE IT IS; time is running out. WAKE UP, for our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. Romans 13:11 NLT Where are the Lions?!! It’s time to step-up!
