African Outreach Project
to build of treatment knowledge of PLWHIV train & develop a network of treatment advocates who will be able to deliver sustainable treatment support for African communities to help develop wider community awareness and confidence in treatment

Pilot project – Phase 1 Delivered treatment sessions for 8 weeks (2 hour session per week) to about 20 participants Used current treatment manual Sessions facilitated by two i-base staff members

Pilot Project – Phase 2 12 aspiring treatment advocates
8 weeks of training – quizzes, co-facilitation Ready to join UKCAB
