2. Room Service Process
Nursing provides brief introduction to bedside restaurant style menu.
Nursing determines patients’ ability to use room service. Patients unable to use room service are provided automatic meal delivery.
Patient telephones room service call center and orders meal(s). Diet education is provided by call center hostess.

Patient meals are cooked and assembled to order (restaurant style) using attractive room service style trays.
Meals are delivered within 45 minutes of the order or at a specific time requested by the patient.
