Is About The similarities and differences between the Texas and the U.S. Constitutions and Bill of Rights Democracy through the Ages Democracy – developed by the Greeks in ancient Athens. Gave each male landowner the right to vote directly for laws. Republicanism - (Representative government) the idea of democracy adopted by the Romans and adapted to rule a large empire. Representatives are voted for by the people to represent their interests in government. Used in both the TX. and U.S. Constitutions.

A big difference between TX and US Constitution (NOT THE SAME) The governor has more limited powers! SO WHAT?!? WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? The President of the United States has more power under the United States Constitution than the Governor of Texas has under the Texas Constitution.

Unlimited vs. Limited Governments
Unlimited governments can do whatever they want and the people can do nothing about it. Example: Nazi party during WWII, or Current North Korean Dictator Limited Governments have to follow the rules set in place by the people. They can not govern any way they please. Example : USA! USA! USA!
