He is really what he professes to be

Does not use his tongue to backbite or slander – Luke 6:45; James 3:1; 1:26; 1 Peter 3:8-10
He does not take up a reproach against his friend

Keeps his oath even when it hurts

Old Law forbade Jews from charging interest to their brethren – Exodus 22:25
New Law surpasses this- Matthew 5:41,42
Does not try to live as ease upon labors of others

Doesn’t accept ill-gotten gains of a false bribe – Deuteronomy 16:19
