If you find that you need support in this area, please fill out a homeless questionnaire in the Central Enrollment Office. They can ascertain what documentation and information you need in order to make a determination on the extent of support. Not all situations of transition between housing meets the federal McKinney-Vento definition of “homelessness.”

6 Strategies for School Success
Check student’s grades on a regular basis to see current grades and assignments. You can do this using Progress Book. Have your student attend after school tutoring at CASE Monday – Thursday From 2:50 – 4:10 If you have any concerns throughout the year, contact your child’s teacher via or voic . Communicate with your child on a daily basis to see where additional supports may be necessary. 9 School Uniforms Students are required to wear school uniforms daily
Pants/capris-black, navy, or khaki classic fit pants. All bottoms must be worn securely at the waist. NO DENIM ALLOWED! Leggings are not allowed unless they are worn under proper bottoms. Shirts-solid red, black or white polo shirts. Undershirts of any solid color may be worn underneath the polo. Spirit wear shirts-students may wear any Mt. Healthy spirit wear t-shirt, jacket, crewneck sweatshirt or hooded sweatshirt. If students come out of uniform, they will be reassigned to ASA for the day or until they get a school uniform. A parent can request for student to walk home to get the proper clothing.

10 Electronic Device Policy
No electronics may be used during class time. High School students may use them in the hallways and during lunch ONLY. Junior High students may use phones before and after school.

11 Attendance Regular attendance and punctuality are KEY elements for academic success. You may clear absences with a written note from a parent or physician: › Illness › Death in immediate family 5 Tardies equals 1 unexcused absence. Students must be in their class by 7:40! 15 unexcused absences will result in a recommendation for expulsion. Absent students will need to get work that was missed THEN turn it in for credit.

12 Relationships We will treat each other with RESPECT.
We will help students in need of our support. We will make it a point to include students who are left out. When we know someone is being mistreated by a peer we will notify an adult at school and at home. Incident Report - Students are expected to report any and all incidents of harassment, intimidation, or bullying whether they are the victim or a bystander. This includes cyber-bullying and anything related to social media.

Track and Field Volleyball (Girls) Baseball (High School) Tennis (High School) Cross Country (High School) Wrestling We still need Jr. High Football players and 10 girls for 7th Grade Volleyball! We are still accepting boys for 9th Grade Football!

14 It’s a Fresh Start If you struggled last year, it’s an opportunity for you to start over. First impressions mean everything!!!! We are anticipating a good year.
