1. Garden Birds of Great Britain
Can be used for Animals topic in Year 2 or Year 4.
I initially used the pictures on screen and let the children use books in order to identify them.
The children then watched the videos, (click on the larger bird images) which were mainly taken on a caravan site in Bala, Wales.
The children then researched the birds using books and the internet – RSPB site which can be accessed from the smaller image of each bird.
The large image of the wren leads to information about the 2006 RSPB Birdwatch.
