Wireless Away From Your School Click on the Bar Strength Icon at bottom right of desktop (like cell phone strength Icon) At other school than home school use roaming network as wireless (letmeing22d) At home choose the desired wireless network –Will need your home wireless password

Standalone Mode Log in as if you are at school When you are not connected to the school network, you still have access to your files Sync your laptop files with the server (H:) using the Backup My Data in the Laptop Folder which is in the desktop. (first time use your network cable)

Guidelines Security Installing software on your laptop –Must have a license –Backup data first. –If your laptop encounters a problem, and needs to be re-images, ALL software you installed will be lost Support –Call Tech Services

USB Memory Key 4 Gigabyte –Use for file backups –Transporting files from one computer to another

SmartBoard/Data Projector Connect VGA cable from Data Projector –Fn + F7 to toggle through settings –OR Windows key (beside Alt key) + P and select Duplicate Connect USB cable or dongle from SmartBoard
