2. Bull Shark
The Bull Shark is known as “Carcharhinus “ in the scientific community. This shark is one of the three species to attack humans. They can grow up to be 16 years old, up to 500 pounds ,and 115 feet. They are carnivores. We all know that shark attacks are very rare, but not with the Bull Shark. This shark lives near tropical shorelines.

3. Great White Shark
The scientific name is “Carcharodon carcharias”. The Great White Shark is known for its role in “Jaws”. This type of shark is one that doesn’t know their mother. The shark is 4500 pounds and can grow to be 15 to 20 feet. They can go up to 43 miles per hour and can live up to 70 years old. The Great White Sharks are carnivores. They can surprisingly smell one drop of blood from kilometers away.

4. Megalodon
They scientific name of the Megalodon is “carchardon megalodon”. The Megalodon is an extinct shark. They were the biggest shark in the ocean. They would grow up to be feet long and tons. They could eat buses, your little sister, and the “Chum Bucket” off of Spongebob.

5. Sand Shark
In the scientific community the Sand Shark is known as “Carchorias Tauras”. The shark grows up to 3.2 meters (10.5 feet). They are known as “ the grey nurse shark”.

6. Tiger Shark
In the scientific community the Tiger shark is known as the “Galeocerdo cuvier”. The Tiger shark is nocturnal animals, that means they sleep during the day. They grow up to feet, and more than 1,900 in weight.
