Demonstration. Mechanical Weathering.
Students to observe rocks before placed in can. Teacher places several jagged small rocks into a large metal can with a lid. The can should travel around the room, each student should shake it forcefully for 5 seconds. Teacher will open the can and pour the contents out onto white paper. How have the rocks changed?
