WESTAR Planning Committee Purpose
Identify air quality issues that have a direct impact on western states Ensure western concerns are considered in the national debate

Committee Activities Monthly phone meetings (First Thursday at 2 PM Mountain) Priority issues we are addressing: State Role in Revisions to Prescribed and Wildland Fire Policy Final Policy out for comment “soon” Regional Haze Plan Development/Completion Natural / Exceptional Event Rule Implementation Relation of Exceptional Events Rule to SIPs
