Conclusion We’ve considered this hour what God’s abode will be like:
There will be some things missing (All pain, sorrow, all of this life’s heartaches). Some things will be there (The Godhead, all of those whose names are written in the Book of Life). Those who arrive there will have very special blessings (They can see God’s face, and serve Him endlessly). But the book also closes with a warning (Beware, lest you miss it).

He who has an ear, let Him hear…
The citizens of this heavenly city… They are God’s people (Rev. 21:1-5). The citizens of heaven are a satisfied people (Rev. 21:6). These citizens are an overcoming people (Rev. 21:7-8). The challenge of this heavenly city… We must keep God’s word (Rev. 22:6-11; 18-19). We have a responsibility of serving the Lord (Rev. 22:12-14). We must keep our lives clean (Rev. 22:15-16). We must keep expecting Jesus Christ to return (Rev. 22:20-21).
