PBIS as a Driver of Inclusive School Reform
RDQ 19 PBIS as a Driver of Inclusive School Reform The purpose of this Roundtable Discussion is to explore how PBIS can be a driver of inclusive school reform. Guiding questions: Should students who exhibit disruptive behaviors be included in general education classrooms? How can we use Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports to be “preventive” and “proactive” to facilitate inclusive education? How can all adults at our school be involved in meeting students’ academic and social needs? Consider the following roles: principal, teacher, related service provider, office staff, teacher assistants and volunteers.
