1. Why Theology? Because the people of God long to know their God.

5. Why Theology?
“Christian theology is the attempt to understand ultimate [eternal] questions in light of Biblical revelation; it is faith reflecting on its [divine] object, faith seeking understanding (Heb 11:6).” (Theology I)

6. Theology is a sincere and humble effort to love God with all our minds (based on Matt 22:37; Mark 12:30; Deut 6:4-5; Deut 10:12).

7. From Term I. . . Theology as a Movement
Authentic theology is always on a journey from the finite to the infinite. Thus, we have a pilgrimage of theology.

Infinite to finite (Isa 55:8-9)
