3. HOW TO ENROLL FOR THE FIRST TIME?
Normal Setting
Enrollment LED ON
RED LED blinks
Set enrollment switch to NORMAL and insert into USB port.
Place finger on sensor
NG/OK
OK – Successful Enrollment
NG – Error (Try Again)
Repeat enrollment for remaining 4 entries

4. NORMAL USAGE Normal Setting
Place finger onto sensor for verification
GREEN LED indicates fingerprint acceptance,
RED LED indicates fingerprint rejection

5. HOW TO RE-ENROLL Set Enrollment Switch to
Enrollment Setting
Set Enrollment Switch to
Place finger onto sensor to clear previous fingerprint enrollments.
Repeat Steps 1 & 2 in page 2
CAUTION
Remove VME BioDrive ONLY after all 3 LEDs goes off.
Remember to slide Enrollment Switch back to “Normal” upon completion.

VME BioDriveTM is a product of superior design and quality which should be handled with care. The suggestions below will help you enjoy this product for many years.
Clean the fingerprint sensor regularly with clean dry cloth.
Always replace the fingerprint cover to protect the fingerprint sensor from unintentional scratches.
Run Scandisk regularly to ensure the data integrity of VME BioDrive.
Always enroll a total of 5 fingerprints.
Keep it out of the reach of small children.
Daily use:
1. Step 1: Place finger on sensor
2. Step 2: After authentication, slide
finger away from sensor to
clear finger print
3. Step 3: Close cover
