Born in 313 AD in Alexandria
4 years old, lost vision

He trusted & loved God
He learnt all the letters of the alphabet by himself

4. St. Athanasius placed him as the head of the Catechetical School of Alexandria in 346AD
He was also a good friend of the great St. Anthony, the father of the monks.

5. St. Didymus wrote 48 books: 20 books on the theology and 28 commentaries on the Old Testament and the New Testament
He departed in peace in the year 398AD
