3. INDIRECT OBJECTS
In Spanish, we use INDERECT OBJECT (I.O.) PRONOUNS when the verb does an action to or for someone or something
The I.O. is placed:
BEFORE the conjugated verb in a sentence OR
AFTER and ATTACHED to the infinitive
INDIRECT OBJECT PRONOUNS
To me= a mí ME
To you= a ti TE
To him= a él LE
To her= a ella
To you (for.)= a Ud.
To us= a nosotros NOS
To you (pl)=a vosotros OS
To them (m.)= a ellos LES
To them (f.)= a ellas
To you (for, pl.)= a Uds.

What do you plan on giving your brother? 
¿Para quién es el regalo?
 Who is this gift for?
¿Qué tipo de regalo buscas?
What kind of gift are you looking for?
Le voy a dar unas corbatas.
 I’m going to give him some ties.
El regalo es para mi novia, Allie.
 The gift is for my girlfriend, Allie
Busco unos juguetes.
I’m looking for some toys.

5. What are you planning on giving your trouble-making friend?
I am planning on buying you some pretty flowers.
My girlfriend wants to show me her black shirt.
I need to tell my nice professors the joke.
