Fact Fact is something said or done in the past or present. We can show or prove it. Example: He painted the wall blue. He said, “That wall is an ugly shade of blue.”

We see the wall is blue and he painted it. This is something done in the past. We can prove it.

He said, “That wall is an ugly shade of blue.”
When people say words, it is a fact that the person said words. The person said something.

Opinion Opinion is something you believe, think, feel. Example:
She is a good person. This room is too big. Pink flowers are prettier than red flowers.
