In times of strife, a mother knows what can soothe her child. In this case, the girl’s mother decided to bake a pie. At that difficult time, the mom hugged her daughter and took her to the kitchen, even getting her daughter to crack a smile.

8. After the mother laid out the utensils and ingredients to be used, she asked her daughter: “Dear, would you like a piece of pie?” The daughter replied: “Of course, mom! You know how much I love pie!”

9. “Very well, then,” replied the mother

God works in a similar fashion. Folks often ask themselves: Why does He let people go through tough times? They don’t realize that when He allows these things to enter our lives, it’s because they will combine to enrich us. We should not focus on the raw ingredients, leave everything in God’s hands and he will take care of making a delicious pie of our your life!
