Proposed Standard Outcome Indicators + Optional and Intermediate Outcome Indicators R&L Target Standard Outcome Indicators (every 5 years) Thriving household livelihoods or Livelihoods enable progress out of poverty Declining household poverty as measured by Progress out of Poverty Index (PPI) Increasing household Food Security as measured by changes in the: Household Hunger Scale (HHS) Dietary Diversity Score (DDS) Coping Strategy Index (CSI) Adaptive household livelihoods Livelihoods are underpinned by sustainable practices Increasing proportion of households engaged in livelihood strategies that use environmentally sustainable practices Resilient household livelihoods Livelihoods are increasingly reliable and resilient to shocks and stresses Increasing proportion of households have access to contingency resources they can rely on in a crisis R&L Target Highly Recommended, Optional Outcome Indicators (to be piloted for eventual use) Empowerment Women’s Empowerment in Agriculture Index (WEAI) measures the trend and relative change in empowerment of men and women over time Youth livelihoods Percentage of young people not in education, employment or training (NEET) Intermediate Outcome Indicators (annually) Food Security Module Household Hunger Scale (HHS) Dietary Diversity Score (DDS) Food Consumption Score (FCS) Coping Strategy Index (CSI) Months of Hunger Season Parents or caregivers provide well for their children Proportion of parents or caregivers able to provide well for their children Savings Groups Proportion HHs with a member participating in an active Savings Group Income sources Income & income diversity DRR NB: The 3 standard high level outcome indicators are intended to be measured as a package at baseline and evaluation – in other words about every 5 years in the context of an ADP.
