Certain needs take priority over others. Once our most important needs are taken care of we move to our next most important needs.

Being Needs
Deficit Needs take priority. You have to fulfill these needs before you can move to the being needs. This includes Physiological, Safety, Belonging, and Esteem needs.
The first need you naturally take care of is your Physiology needs. This includes your need for oxygen, minerals and vitamins. Once these are taken care of you move to your safety and security needs which is next on the Hierarchy of Needs
This is your self- actualization need. Which is being all that you can be. Once all of your deficit needs are fulfilled, you move on to fulfill your self-actualization needs. Maslow suggested that only about 2% of the world is at this stage.

His research shows how our minds think to satisfy our needs step by step and broken down into levels.

We agree with Maslow’s theory about the way we take care of ourselves mentally. We believe we put certain needs before others naturally and we take care of one before we move onto the next.

Being homeless
When someone is homeless, they take of their physiological and safety needs constantly.
Being sick
When you are sick you are worried about your wellness.
Involvement in sports
When doing sports, you have to make sure you’re staying hydrated and getting nutrients.
