Types of Gas Plants Amine Sweetening to remove H2S and CO2
Refrigeration to remove heavier gas hydrocarbons as LPG (Liquid Petroleum Gases) or NGL (Natural Gas Liquids). It also removes water. Dehydration removes water. Compression recompresses the gas to process or pipeline pressures.

The Goal To separate the components of the hydrocarbons exploited from underground and create saleable products: Natural gas for home heating, power generation, and industrial uses. Gasoline & Diesel for transportation Heavy ends for asphalt or reprocessed into lighter hydrocarbons (cracking process through ‘upgraders’).
