2. Purpose Help address an unmet need
Support projects that provide long-term benefits sustained by the club
Fill a funding gap

3. Your project must: Be Kiwanis led
Fill a need within your community as determined through a needs assessment
Programming that recurs at least once a year
Support health, education or youth leadership development

4. Your project must: Receive at least 25% of funds from your club
Require no more than 40% from us
Have at least one other funder
Spend the funds within 12 months

5. Ideal projects are: Widely familiar Sustainable Recurring
Capable of being duplicated
Children- and community-focused

6. Ideal projects are: High-impact Membership-focused Network building
Unique

7. We do not fund: Projects lacking Kiwanis identity
Funding more appropriate from a local government or other organization
Completed projects
Expenses/salaries of other organizations

8. We do not fund: Loan repayments or reimbursements
Individual assistance
Scientific research or medical studies
Training expenses, travel or lodging
Capital construction or land/buildings
