LA salvadora summary Amalia feels like she's “changing” too soon even though she is in her fifties. When Amalia hears of Alexandro's death she felt his ghost be born into her as her womanhood leave her. Marisa through Corky tells the audience about the time she was raped as a child at Catholic School. Amalia has dream of her and Marisa Marisa has a confrontation with Amalia about why she vanished with no reason as to why. Marisa recalls the times they spent together intimately

My thoughts Although having gone through a traumatic experience that haunts her she uses it to shape who she is. I feel like Amalia feels remorse for leaving Marisa “You have the rest of your life to forgive me” Looking to our past selves and experiences to reflect on how they made us feel.
