DIGITAL STRATEGY OF EDUCATION IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC 2015 - 2020

The Strategy of the Czech Republic's Education Policy in the Digital World "Strategy of the Educational Policy of the Czech Republic until 2020" was approved by the Government of the Czech Republic on July 9, 2014. It formulates these three cross-cutting priorities: Reduce inequalities in education Promote quality education and teachers as a key assumption Responsibly and effectively manage the education system.

The Digital Education Strategy formulates three priority objectives:
Open education to new methods and ways of learning through digital technologies, Improve pupils' competencies in the field of information and digital technology, Develop pupils' information thinking.

Main directions of the strategy:
Ensure non-discriminatory access to digital educational resources. Ensure conditions for the development of digital literacy and information literacy of pupils. Ensure conditions for the development of digital literacy and informative thinking of teachers. Ensure the building and renewal of the educational infrastructure. Promote innovative practices, monitoring, evaluating and disseminating their results. Ensure a system that encourages the development of schools in the area of digital technology integration into teaching and school life. Increase public understanding of the goals and processes of technology integration into education.

In the future, the following knowledge and skills will be required:
Digital literacy as part of the basic education of each individual. A narrow specialization in one field will retreat and will be required, or a knowledge of knowledge in a single area, and a broad knowledge of many disciplines, but also communication skills, critical thinking. In addition to hard skills (ie hard skills, technical, technical, language skills, etc.) Soft skills (soft skills) will increase.
